Terrorists from Gaza yet again targeted Israel’s civilian population Sunday night. No one was injured in the attack.

Terrorists from Gaza again fired a rocket at Israel’s civilian population late Sunday night. The rocket fell in an open space, causing no injuries or damage.

The IDF has not yet responded to this latest attack.

This is the third consecutive night during which terrorists fired rockets at Israel.

A rocket was intercepted by an Iron Dome anti-rocket battery over the city of Ashkelon Saturday night. Another rocket was fired at Israel Friday night, but fell short of its target within the Gaza Strip.

The number of rocket attacks from Gaza have increased in recent weeks amid an escalation in Palestinian violence against Israelis, and specifically in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has deployed Iron Dome batteries in several cities in the south, in wake of concerns of increased rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip.

In another unrelated incident, Israel’s navy fired warning shots at five Palestinian fishing boats from Gaza that crossed the boundaries of the permitted fishing zones around the Strip. The offending boats returned back to the coast. Israel has established these zones in an attempt to thwart weapons smuggling attempts into Gaza, and terror attacks emanating from Gaza.
