Anti-Israel activists are trying to pressure J Lo into cancelling her Tel Aviv performance, but it is improbable she will bend to the pressure.

Anti-Israel activists have launched a social media campaign in an attempt to pressure pop star Jennifer Lopez into canceling her scheduled summer concert in Israel.

The NY Daily News reports that BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) activists are using the hashtag #CancelTelAviv, and are bombarding the singer on social media with graphic images purportedly showing maimed children in Gaza who were ostensibly harmed by Israel.

They are asking her to follow the lead of Pink Floyd singer Roger Waters, who has been a vocal critic of Israel and has pressured artists and musicians, such as Elvis Costello, into cancelling their concerts in Israel over alleged crimes committed by the Jewish State against the Palestinians. His activities have been exposed to be motivated by anti-Semitism in the guise of supposed human rights activism.

However, most performers do not buckle to the pressure and perform in Israel, including, for example, Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones, ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, British rocker Alan Parsons, pop artist Taylor Swift and Robbie Williams

Pro-Israel supporters have launched a counter-campaign also using the hashtag and imploring Lopez not to cancel her show.

A long list of front-line performers have already announced they will perform in Israel in 2016, including Elton John, Deep Purple, Julio Iglesias, Megadeath and the Scorpions, who have chosen to ignore the Israel-haters and perform in the only true democracy in the Middle East.

Lopez is a member of Creative Community for Peace, an anti-BDS organization made up of music executives and music representatives of bands including Aerosmith, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, and Justin Timberlake, and therefore it is improbable she will bend to the pressure.
