Let's Say Thank You to Greece
United with Israel wants to thank Greece for its support in preventing the provocative flotilla from trying to break the legal blockade on Gaza. Any country that helps Israel in its fight against terror is helping the Western world stand up for truth, justice and virtue.
For the second time in less than a week, Greek authorities have blocked an unauthorized flotilla ship from leaving its port and attempting to sail to Gaza as part of Freedom Flotilla II, this summer's attempt to break Israel's blockade of Gaza.

Glenn Beck Stands United with Israel
Glenn Beck has been leading a publicity campaign for the Restoring Courage event in Jerusalem on 8/24 over the past few weeks, urging his viewers and listeners to fly out to the Holy Land.
United with Israel is proud to be assisting Glenn Beck and his team with their efforts here in Israel. Tens of thousands of excited Israelis and Americans will be on hand for Glenn Beck's upcoming rally to "restore courage," which is set to take place on August 24 in Jerusalem.

The Rabbi and the Basketball Player
Chief Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau is a man who brightens any room with his Torah depth and stature. He survived the Holocaust, continued the Rabbinic dynasty he hailed from, served as Chief Rabbi of Israel and now of Tel Aviv--and he is a legendary figure to all Jews.
On the complete opposite end is the legendary Lakers Center, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Born Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor, Jr., he had a prolific college and NBA career becoming one of the best basketball players.

Living Torah: We Need More Miriams and Aarons
Among the experiences and episodes that we encountered in last week's Torah portion called "Chukat", is the passing of Miriam and Aaron, sister and brother of Moses, respectively.
Miriam was far more than merely the sister of the leader of the Jewish people - she was a prophetess in her own right. When Pharaoh decreed that all Jewish baby boys were to be drowned in the Nile River many husbands and wives separated from each other.
