Netanyahu: No Limits on Building in Jerusalem!
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu came out swinging on Sunday after the European Union criticized approval for 800 new homes in the southern neighborhood of Gilo, and he told the Cabinet,"We are not imposing any restrictions on construction in Jerusalem. It is our capital.”
Last week’s approval for new building in Jerusalem includes construction of a military college on land that the EU, as well as the United States, considers to be Jewish “settlements” that they consider illegal. A recent report authored by three Israeli legal experts, headed by former High Court Justice Edmund Levy, concluded that Jews have a legal right to live in all of the land restored to the country in the Six-Day War in 1967. It said the term “occupied territory” is wrong. |

Southern Israel Cancels School Due to Rocket Fire
Thousands of Israeli children were ordered to stay home from school to keep them safe from Gaza rocket fire.
School was cancelled in the Eshkol region due to a barrage of rocket attacks in that district, making it unsafe to transport the children on the roads. Classes also were cancelled in the Sdot Negev and Hof Ashkelon districts, where rockets continued to rain down as well.
The Iron Dome anti-missile defense system is operating and working to protect the major southern cities of Be’er Sheva, Ashkelon and Ashdod. Nevertheless, two homes in the smaller districts sustained direct hits Wednesday morning, and three agricultural workers were wounded in the attacks, one seriously.

Facebook Removes Hizbullah Pages
Facebook has removed Hizbullah’s violent, hateful pages following a series of articles published by MEMRI, the Middle East Media Research Institute. The publicity campaign was aimed at persuading Facebook to close the terrorist group’s pages.
In August, the social networking site closed Hizbullah and Al-Manar TV pages, but the terror group quickly created two more Facebook pages.
MEMRI immediately reported the new pages to the social networking site and publicized them to the media.
In addition, the media watchdog reported a page belonging to Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, created in October 2011 that had never been shut down.
