Israel 365
ISRAEL365: Scenes and Inspiration Every Single Day!

United with Israel has just launched 'ISRAEL365' – a new project which allows anyone to connect to the People, Country and Land of Israel on a daily basis.

Israel365 features a stunning visual image of the Land of Israel each day – from more than 30 award winning Israeli photographers. Alongside the picture is an inspiring Biblical quotation in English, Hebrew and transliteration. Each day also includes a detailed explanation of the photo, a historical anecdote and a Hebrew lesson based on the biblical passage.

ACT FOR ISRAEL: Protest Hamas' Phosphorus Weapons

Israel National News reported that an Israeli official has asked the United Nations to explain why it doesn't charge Hamas with war crimes for its recent firing of 'phosphorus explosives' on civilians.

United with Israel urges you to join us in sending an email to the UN to complain about this blatant violation of international law. The UN is required to uphold its charter and charge Hamas with war crimes. See below for more information on contacting the UN.

Rabbi Enkin

Death or Life?

This week's Torah portion is "Vayechi" (Genesis 47:28–50:26). Although the word "Vayechi" actually means "to live on..." the focal point of our Torah portion is actually the death of Jacob! What's even more interesting is that even though we are discussing the death and burial of Jacob, nowhere in scripture does it actually say that Jacob died!

The portion of "to live on..." discusses death! And yet in the demise of Jacob there is no direct mention of death? What's going on here?!?!?!
