60% of Cancer Deaths can be Prevented!
It is possible to prevent 60 percent of cancer deaths by lifestyle changes, early diagnoses and proven medical interventions, according to the Israel Cancer Association.
The ICA is marking International Cancer Day on February 4.
Every year, 12.7 million people around the globe are diagnosed with cancer, and 600,000 die in an average month, a total of 7,200,000 a year. Estimates are that as the population ages, the world death rate from cancer will reach 12 million by the year 2030.

Iran: Our Nuclear Program is Peaceful
Iran will attack any country whose territory is used by “enemies” of the Islamic state to launch a military strike against its soil, the deputy head of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards told the semi-official Fars news agency.
“Any spot used by the enemy for hostile operations against Iran, will be subjected to retaliatory aggression by our armed forces,” Hossein Salami said, during military maneuvers.

Israel Ranks 2nd Among Educated Countries!
Israel is a world leader when it comes to academics, according to a report compiled recently by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD).
Channel 2 News reported on Wednesday that the OECD report shows that Israel is ranked second among OECD member countries in terms of the number of academics.
45 percent of the Israeli population has a post-secondary education, the report found. Israel’s second place puts it ahead of many Western countries, including Japan, the UK, Finland, New Zealand and even the United States.

Nation of Israel: Jump into the Sea!
The Torah portion of Beshalach means “to be sent away” (Exodus 13:7 – 17:16). As you might have guessed it – this reading is all about the Exodus from Egypt, Pharaoh finally “sending away” the Jewish people.
The Torah tells us that there was actually a quick route to the Promised Land but that God chose to take the Jewish people by way of a longer route. This is because God was worried that the quick route through the land of the Philistines would make the Jewish people regret their departure from Egypt should they encounter yet another hostile army.
