Poll: Americans' Support for Israel at All Time High
"Americans' sympathy for Israel is at an all time high,
according to a poll measuring American sympathies between Israel and
Palestinians. This information was released this week, coinciding with
President Obama's first visit to Israel as US president. 64 percent of the
American public supports Israel, while only 12 percent of Americans support the
Palestinians and only 23 percent of Americans are undecided.
Gallup has noted
that there has been a general trend within the American population to view
Israel in a favorable light, while the number of Americans who were undecided
about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has greatly declined.

Visit
After a relative quiet period following Operation Pillar of Defense,
code-red alerts (which are sounded whenever a Qassam rocket is
approaching) were sounded in Sderot violating the November, 2012 ceasefire for
the second time. One rocket severely damaged a house in Sderot, while
another landed in a field. Two more rockets were fired at Israel, yet exploded
within Gaza. The rockets are believed to have been fired from Beit Hanoun.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, yet two residents were treated for shock.

Passover: Freedom for the Nation of Israel!
Passover commemorates our freedom from slavery and the birth of the Jewish
nation: A healthy, liberating experience for both the body and the soul
of the People of Israel. Our ancient customs at the Seder and the
special foods we eat - tell the amazing story of our freedom. And they help us
to re-enact those precious moments of liberation, some 3300 years ago.
Marror (bitter herbs) remind us of the harshness and bitterness of slavery.
Matzoh, the "poor man's bread" that we ate as slaves, transforms
itself, during the Seder, into the bread of redemption.

Preparing
for Passover in Israel
As Passover approaches in Israel, families across the country are getting ready
for the holiday. People are cleaning up their homes, in an effort to ensure
that there is literally no Hametz anywhere inside the home. Hametz means
'leavened' in Hebrew and includes any grain products that have 'risen' like
bread or crackers.
During the Passover holiday only Matzah is eaten. Israeli
families even go as far as cleaning cars, bedroom closets, windows, and
bathrooms, in order to ensure complete compliance with Jewish law for the
holiday.
