Security forces eliminated a Palestinian terrorist who stabbed two border policemen in the Old City of Jerusalem. The wounded victims are in light-to-moderate condition.

A Palestinian terrorist wounded two border policemen in a stabbing attack at Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem Friday morning.  A 50-year-old Palestinian woman who was nearby also was injured.

The assailant, identified as Jerusalem resident Muhammed Abu Halaf, 20, was shot and killed by police. See the footage below.

The Israeli victims, in their 20s, were lightly to moderately wounded – one in the head, and the other in the arm. They were transferred to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in the capital after being treated by Magen David Adom paramedics. The Palestinian woman was lightly injured in the leg and given medical treatment.

Damascus Gate has been the site of several terror attacks during the current wave of Palestinian violence, including the stabbing to death of 19-year-old Border Policewoman Hadar Cohen earlier this month.
