Another deadly attack occurred near the city of Hebron, when a Palestinian terrorist rammed his car into a young police officer, critically wounding him.

A 19-year-old Border Police officer was critically wounded Wednesday afternoon when a Palestinian terrorist rammed into him with his car at the Haloul Junction on Route 60, north of Hebron.

The victim was rushed to Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem, where he is fighting for his life, Magen David Adom rescue workers said.

A second officer was hit as well, but reportedly suffered no injuries.

Security forces eliminated the terrorist at the scene.

Although terror attacks have been occurring frequently across the country, the Hebron region has been a focal point, as the city is a hotbed for terrorists. Stabbing and vehicular attacks have become the most common weapons in the current wave of terror.

Three Border Police were wounded Sunday afternoon in a Palestinian car terror attack when a speeding vehicle drove into them at the Beit Anoun Junction, also near Hebron.
