PortugueseFrench Ambassador to Israel Patrick Maisonnave spoke recently, in glowing terms, about the blossoming relationship between Israel and France.
Maisonnave is moved by the overwhelming support that has been pouring in from Israelis since the recent Paris terror attacks.
He described the close cooperation between Israel and France, which has been ongoing for at least two years – well before the infamous Charlie Hebdo and Jewish supermarket attacks.
Though France hasn’t spoken out about the recent terror in Israel, they are apparently understanding of what goes on here.
Let’s hope this relationship will continue to flourish in the months to come.
