Israeli Scientists Help Sea Turtle Survive with Artificial Fins Modeled after F-22 Fighter Jet

After being rescued from fishing nets, an endangered green sea turtle, now going by the name Chofesh, which means ‘freedom’ in Hebrew, lost both left limbs.

Recently, Israeli rescuers equipped him with an advanced prosthetic fin modeled after the US F-22 fighter jet, which gave him back much-needed stability.
