As eleições em Israel acontecerão no dia 17 de setembro, mas em 97 embaixadas israelenses ao redor do mundo a votação já começou.

Há 11 dias das eleições em Israel, as urnas já abriram em diversas embaixadas do país ao redor do mundo.
São 5.080 diplomatas israelenses que poderão (em Israel o voto não é obrigatório), ir às urnas para escolher os representantes do Knesset de número 22, ou a vigésima segunda formação do parlamento do estado judeu.
As urnas estão espalhadas por 97 embaixadas em 77 países, ao redor do mundo.
O primeiro cidadão israelense a votar nessas eleições foi Itzchak Greenberg, Embaixador de Israel em Wellington, capital da Nova Zelândia.
A maior zona eleitoral fora de Israel está localizada no Consulado do país em Nova York, lá 776 pessoas poderão votar e assim escolher seus representantes.
