Trump, assinou hoje, ao lado do Premi\u00ea Israelense Benjamin Netaniahu, um decreto que formaliza a decis\u00e3o do governo americano. \u00a0Com a decis\u00e3o, os Estados Unidos tornam-se o primeiro pa\u00eds a reconhecer a soberania de Israel sobre o Gol\u00e3 que foi anexado por Israel em 1981.<\/p>\n

Trump disse que a \u201camizade entre Israel e os Estados Unidos nunca foi t\u00e3o forte, mesmo que as vezes n\u00e3o parece, ela nunca foi t\u00e3o forte\u201d. O Presidente americano disse ainda que o reconhecimento da soberania de Israel sobre o Gol\u00e3, \u201cdeveria ter acontecido a muito tempo.\u201d. Segundo Trump, essa medida permitir\u00e1 que Israel se defenda dos seus inimigos que usam o Gol\u00e3 como uma plataforma para atacar Israel. \u201cIsrael tem o direito de se defender\u201d.<\/p>\n

Netaniahu agradeceu ao colega dizendo: ” Voc\u00ea tem demonstrado constantemente um incr\u00edvel apoio a Israel e ao nosso direito de autodefesa. Quando exercitamos esse direito, voc\u00ea nunca hesitou em nos apoiar.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pa\u00edses como Ar\u00e1bia Saudita, Turquia e R\u00fassia, criticaram a posi\u00e7\u00e3o dos Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n

O recente ataque do Hamas hoje de manh\u00e3 que deixou 7 israelenses feridos, obrigou Netaniahu a encurtar sua viagem. Ele deveria discursar amanh\u00e3 em uma conven\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00f3-Israel, mas deve regressar \u00e0 Israel logo ap\u00f3s o encontro com o presidente americano.<\/p>\n
