O Ministro da Defesa de Israel, Benny Gantz, notificou os Estados Unidos que instruiu as for\u00e7as de defesa israelenses a se prepararem para um poss\u00edvel ataque ao Ir\u00e3. Haveria at\u00e9 uma data para a a\u00e7\u00e3o militar que \u00e9 vista como a \u00faltimo recurso a fim de impedir que o regime iraniano desenvolva armas nucleares. Isto, se falharem os esfor\u00e7os internacionais diplom\u00e1ticos nesta dire\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Em visita oficial a Washington, o ministro da defesa Benny Gantz se reuniu na \u00faltima sexta-feira (10) como o Secret\u00e1rio de Estado dos Estados Unidos, Antony Blinken, e com Secret\u00e1rio da Defesa, Lloyd Austin. Este \u00faltimo, serviu como comandante do Comando Central das For\u00e7as enquanto Gantz era o Chefe do Estado-maior das For\u00e7as de Defesa de Israel, IDF na sigla em ingl\u00eas.<\/p>\n

De acordo com uma fonte diplom\u00e1tica israelense citada pela m\u00eddia, os americanos n\u00e3o se opuseram a op\u00e7\u00e3o de uma a\u00e7\u00e3o militar contra o Ir\u00e3. Apesar disso, Washington ainda cr\u00ea ser capaz de impedir o avan\u00e7o do programa nuclear do regime dos aiatol\u00e1s atrav\u00e9s da diplomacia.<\/p>\n

Na semana passada foram retomadas em Viena, na \u00c1ustria, as negocia\u00e7\u00f5es acerca do acordo nuclear firmado em 2015 entre os principais potenciais mundiais e o Ir\u00e3. Chamado de Plano de A\u00e7\u00e3o Conjunta Global, ou apenas JCPOA na sigla em ingl\u00eas, o acordo foi arquitetado pelo ex-presidente americano Barack Obama e endossado pelo Reino Unido, Inglaterra, Fran\u00e7a, R\u00fassia e China.<\/p>\n

Sob o comando de Donald Trump, os Estados Unidos abandonaram o JCPOA em maio de 2018. \u00c0 \u00e9poca, Trump se aproximou de Israel e concordou com a posi\u00e7\u00e3o de Jerusal\u00e9m de que o plano n\u00e3o \u00e9 capaz de impedir que Teer\u00e3 obtivesse armas nucleares. Ele ainda imp\u00f4s severas san\u00e7\u00f5es econ\u00f4micas contra o Ir\u00e3 e altos funcion\u00e1rios do regime dos aiatol\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Agora, sob o comando de Joe Biden, os Estados Unidos tentam \u201csalvar\u201d o acordo nuclear.<\/a><\/p>\n

Esta \u00e9 a oitava rodada de negocia\u00e7\u00f5es e a paci\u00eancia da comunidade internacional com Teer\u00e3 parece estar chegando ao fim. Neste s\u00e1bado, a Ministra das Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Exteriores da Alemanha, Annalena Baerbock, disse que o \u201ctempo est\u00e1 se esgotando\u201d para que um novo acordo seja alcan\u00e7ado.<\/p>\n

Al\u00e9m de Baerbock, a Ministra das Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Exteriores do Reino Unido, Liz Truss, disse na semana passada que \u201cesta \u00e9 a \u00faltima oportunidade do Ir\u00e3\u201d.<\/p>\n

Em nota o Ministro da Defesa de Israel, Benny Gantz, disse que o \u201cIr\u00e3 est\u00e1 jogando poker com p\u00e9ssimas cartas na m\u00e3o\u201d. Segundo ele, o mundo tem agora uma oportunidade para impedir o avan\u00e7o do programa nuclear, ideais extremistas e agenda terrorista de Teer\u00e3.<\/p>\n

\u201cO Ir\u00e3 est\u00e1 jogando poker com p\u00e9ssimas cartas na m\u00e3o. A comunidade internacional, sob o comando dos Estados Unidos, tem a oportunidade de agir contra a vis\u00e3o do Ir\u00e3 de se transformar em uma pot\u00eancia capaz de subjugar na\u00e7\u00f5es e pessoas, no Oriente M\u00e9dio e no mundo\u201d, disse Gantz.<\/p>\n
