Conhecido por sua posi\u00e7\u00e3o cr\u00edtica a Israel e em favor do terrorismo palestino, o parlamentar jordaniano Imad Al-Adwan foi preso ao tentar entrar no territ\u00f3rio israelense na posse de mais de 200 armas e ouro.<\/p>\n

De acordo com o Shin Bet, servi\u00e7o de intelig\u00eancia dom\u00e9stico israelense, Imad Al-Adwan usou seu passaporte diplom\u00e1tico para tentar burlar a revista alfandeg\u00e1ria ao cruzar a fronteira entre a Jord\u00e2nia e Israel no \u00faltimo dia 23 de abril. Ap\u00f3s ser identificado como suspeito em uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o relacionada ao crime organizado e ao tr\u00e1fico internacional de armas, ele teve seus pertences revistados na Ponte Allemby, ou Ponte Rei Hossein.<\/p>\n

Na posse do parlamentar jordaniano foram encontradas 194 pistolas, 12 fuzis e 100 kg de ouro. De acordo com a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o o material seria levado para a Jud\u00e9ia e Samaria, ou Cisjord\u00e2nia.<\/p>\n

Ainda de acordo com o Shin Bet esta n\u00e3o \u00e9 a primeira vez que Imad Al-Adwan usa seu cargo e passaporte diplom\u00e1tico para o tr\u00e1fico. Ele confessou haver entrado em Israel em ao menos 12 oportunidades na posse de contrabando.<\/p>\n

Entre os itens listados como contrabandeados no passado por Imad Al-Adwan est\u00e3o por exemplo, cigarros eletr\u00f4nicos, ouro, animais silvestres e at\u00e9 pessoas, que entraram em Israel para trabalhar ilegalmente.<\/p>\n

O Ministro das Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Exteriores de Israel, Eli Cohen, descartou a participa\u00e7\u00e3o do governo da Jord\u00e2nia na a\u00e7\u00e3o. Segundo ele, ao que tudo indica, Imad Al-Adwan agiu sozinho. De acordo com o Shin Bet, para fins de enriquecimento pessoal.<\/p>\n

Para n\u00e3o colocar em risco sua delicada rela\u00e7\u00e3o com a Jord\u00e2nia o governo de Israel decidiu na manh\u00e3 deste domingo (4), entregar Imad Al-Adwan \u00e0s autoridades de seu pa\u00eds. Isto, ap\u00f3s a promessa de Am\u00e3 de que o parlamentar ser\u00e1 devidamente julgado e responder\u00e1 por seus crimes.<\/p>\n

De facto<\/em>, o parlamentar Imad Al-Adwan foi extraditado por Israel para a Jord\u00e2nia, apesar de n\u00e3o haver um acordo desta natureza entre a Jerusal\u00e9m e Am\u00e3.<\/p>\n

Ainda neste domingo o Presidente da C\u00e2mara dos Representantes da Jord\u00e2nia, Ahmad Safadi, disse \u00e0 m\u00eddia local que a imunidade parlamentar de Imad Al-Adwan havia sido revogada a pedido do governo de Am\u00e3.<\/p>\n
