”Vamos, esto es absurdo”, escribió Nides en su cuenta de Twitter en respuesta a la definición de Israel como ”un sistema de opresión” por parte de Amnistía Internacional. Otros funcionarios estadounidenses también mostraron su descontento con este hecho.
Por su parte, el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Israel, Yair Lapid, también se refirió a este asunto. ”Israel rechaza rotundamente todas las falsas acusaciones”, sentenció el funcionario.
