Ahmed Al-Arfaj, un escritor de Arabia Saudita entrevistado en Rotana Khalijiyya Television , dice: «En algún momento, cuando lleguemos allí, sí, apoyaré la normalización [de las relaciones con Israel]».

Al-Arfaj señaló que Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gadafi y muchos otros que prometieron destruir a Israel ya no están, mientras que Israel continúa floreciendo.
