En el verano de 1944, Jana Bar Yesha, de doce años de edad, fue deportada junto a su extensa familia de Hungría a Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Durante el proceso de selección, la mayor parte de su familia fue enviada a las cámaras de gas. Jana fue encarcelada en Birkenau como prisionera, junto con su madre y sus tías.

Esta conmovedora película describe la historia de vida de Jana, desde su juventud en Ungvár hasta su inmigración a Israel.
