El jefe de la NASA Charlie Bolden, en una visita a Israel, dijo que ser\u00eda necesaria la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional para que las misiones tripuladas a Marte puedan\u00a0tener \u00e9xito, y que \u00e9l est\u00e1 interesado en explorar c\u00f3mo Israel podr\u00eda ayudar a dicho esfuerzo, al tiempo que expresa su reconocimiento por las capacidades tecnol\u00f3gicas de Israel.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Acompa\u00f1ado por el ministro israel\u00ed de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda, Ofir Akunis, y el alcalde de Guivatayim, \u00a0Ran Konik, el jefe de la Nasa, Bolden, hizo una gira por el Observatorio de Guivatayim.<\/p>\n

La NASA est\u00e1 desarrollando las capacidades necesarias para enviar humanos a un asteroide en 2025 y a Marte en la d\u00e9cada de 2030.<\/p>\n

Akunis, quien expres\u00f3 su esperanza de que la NASA incluir\u00eda a un astronauta israel\u00ed en\u00a0una pr\u00f3xima misi\u00f3n a la Estaci\u00f3n Espacial Internacional, dijo\u00a0que la visita de Bolden \u00abes importante y aumentar\u00e1 la cooperaci\u00f3n entre Israel y los Estados Unidos\u00bb.<\/p>\n

En octubre de 2015, la NASA y la Agencia Espacial de Israel (ISA) firmaron un acuerdo espacial<\/a>, estableciendo una relaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s estrecha entre los dos cuerpos.<\/p>\n
