\u201cAunque el Estado Isl\u00e1mico se encuentra cerca de nuestras fronteras, no es la \u00fanica amenaza inminente en la regi\u00f3n\u201d, afirm\u00f3 el Mayor General Yair Golan, reci\u00e9n nombrado Jefe Adjunto del Estado Mayor de las FDI. \u201cLa amenaza m\u00e1s pr\u00f3xima es la del islamismo radical chi\u00edta, liderado por Hezbollah.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

<\/span>Seg\u00fan el Mayor General Gol\u00e1n<\/a>, Hezbollah decide atacar Israel espor\u00e1dicamente, como por ejemplo en octubre pasado<\/a>, cuando un artefacto explosivo fue activado contra soldados de las FDI en la frontera con el L\u00edbano. \u201cTenemos que mantener un alto nivel de preparaci\u00f3n junto con un f\u00e9rreo control sobre nuestras fronteras\u201d<\/em>, dijo el comandante.<\/p>\n

En los \u00faltimos meses, ocurrieron otros eventos alarmantes en el frente norte como la detonaci\u00f3n de artefactos explosivos dirigidos a las fuerzas de las FDI e infiltraciones de aviones de combate sirios<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHemos adaptado las lecciones aprendidas durante la operaci\u00f3n Margen Protector <\/a>en Gaza para el frente norte y estamos entrenando para mejorar cada d\u00eda\u201d<\/em> declar\u00f3 el Mayor General Gol\u00e1n. \u201cEs claro que el reto al que nos enfrentamos aqu\u00ed es mucho m\u00e1s grande y requerir\u00e1 mucho m\u00e1s de nosotros. Tendremos que estar preparados para vencer [al enemigo] r\u00e1pidamente y detener la amenaza contra nuestros ciudadanos\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hezbollah no se puede considerar como una organizaci\u00f3n terrorista como cualquier otra.<\/a> Esta agrupaci\u00f3n cuenta con un arsenal con m\u00e1s de 100.000 cohetes<\/a> capaces de alcanzar cualquier punto de Israel.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa amenaza que representa Hezbollah para nuestros ciudadanos es muy grave. No estoy seguro de que seremos capaces de proporcionar una defensa antimisiles contra Hezbollah como lo hicimos con los cohetes de Ham\u00e1s desde Gaza.
