Como presidente de la Autoridad Palestina Mahmoud Abbas se dispone a visitar Washington para reunirse con el presidente Donald Trump, un miembro de su administraci\u00f3n arremeti\u00f3 contra el equipo de Trump, diciendo que la Casa Blanca est\u00e1 habitada por colonos israel\u00edes.
\nHanan Ashrawi, miembro del Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo de la OLP, dijo el s\u00e1bado que la derecha israel\u00ed ha penetrado la administraci\u00f3n americana.<\/p>\n

\u201cSol\u00edamos decir que hab\u00eda colonos en la coalici\u00f3n israel\u00ed nacida de la extrema derecha que detesta a los palestinos, \u00e1rabes y musulmanes. Pero hoy decimos que hay colonos dentro de la Casa Blanca\u201d, dijo, en declaraciones recogidas por el portal de noticias Ynet.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa administraci\u00f3n ha adoptado la posici\u00f3n israel\u00ed de extrema a la derecha de (el primer ministro israel\u00ed, Binyamin) Netanyahu y apoya los asentamientos\u201d.
\nNo se ha establecido una fecha exacta para la reuni\u00f3n Trump-Abbas, pero al parecer un grupo de avanzada palestino estar\u00eda visitando Washington DC a finales de este mes.<\/p>\n

Trump habl\u00f3 con Abbas en una primera llamada telef\u00f3nica en marzo e invit\u00f3 al l\u00edder palestino a la Casa Blanca.<\/p>\n

Abbas dijo m\u00e1s tarde que el enviado especial de paz Jason Greenblatt cre\u00eda que un acuerdo de paz \u201chist\u00f3rico\u201d con Israel era posible con Trump en el cargo.<\/p>\n

Greenblatt dijo a los ministros de Exteriores \u00e1rabes a finales de marzo que Trump se ha comprometido a alcanzar un acuerdo de paz entre Israel y los palestinos que \u201crepercutir\u00e1\u201d en todo el Oriente Medio y el mundo.<\/p>\n
