Israel probar\u00e1 su avanzada bater\u00eda antimisiles Jetz 3 (Flecha o \u201cArrow\u201d, en ingl\u00e9s) en Alaska, por primera vez, en 2018.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

El gerente general de la Corporaci\u00f3n Aeroespacial de Alaska, Craig Campbell, manifest\u00f3 que la prueba est\u00e1 incluida en un contrato, de cinco a seis a\u00f1os, por 80,4 millones de d\u00f3lares entre su empresa y la Agencia de Defensa Antimisiles de EE.UU., que fue firmado el verano pasado.<\/p>\n

El interceptor ser\u00e1 lanzado desde un sitio de pruebas en la isla Kodiak.<\/p>\n

La bater\u00eda antimisiles Jetz 3 se ha sumado al sistema de defensa a\u00e9rea de tres niveles que ha construido Israel. Este sistema de tres capas incluye tambi\u00e9n a las bater\u00edas antimisiles C\u00fapula de Hierro, para interceptar cohetes de corto alcance, y al sistema antimisiles Honda de David, listo para ser usado contra cohetes pesados de alcance medio y aviones no tripulados (drones) enemigos.
