Despu\u00e9s de recibir capacitaci\u00f3n en Israel, los m\u00e9dicos palestinos ahora pueden salvar la vista de los palestinos y mejorar su salud en la Franja de Gaza.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

A fines de 2016, se inaugur\u00f3 una nueva sucursal del Hospital St John’s Eye en Gaza, controlada por Hamas, y ya son varias las cirug\u00edas de trasplante de c\u00f3rnea las que se llevan a cabo en la Franja de Gaza por m\u00e9dicos palestinos<\/a> que se han capacitado en Israel.<\/p>\n

La semana pasada, dos m\u00e9dicos palestinos que trabajan en un hospital de Jerusalem partieron hacia Gaza para realizar rondas de tratamientos y trasplantes de c\u00f3rnea en la sucursal del hospital St John’s en Gaza, seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 el Coordinador de Actividades Gubernamentales en los Territorios (COGAT) de las FDI.<\/p>\n

Los dos m\u00e9dicos trabajan regularmente en el Hospital St. John en Jerusalem y una vez cada dos meses viajan a Gaza para realizar trasplantes y proporcionar otros servicios a los pacientes que viven en la Franja de Gaza. Ellos traen su equipo m\u00e9dico de Jerusalem a Gaza para dar a sus pacientes el mejor tratamiento posible.<\/p>\n

Dalia Bassa, Coordinadora de Salud de la Administraci\u00f3n Civil de las IDF, junto con la Administraci\u00f3n de Enlace y Coordinaci\u00f3n de Gaza, coordina la entrada de los m\u00e9dicos en Gaza y su regreso al hospital en Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

\u00abTraemos atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica a los habitantes de Gaza y les ahorramos la molestia de salir de casa e ir a un hospital en Judea y Samaria\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 Bassa.<\/p>\n

La cirug\u00eda de c\u00f3rnea es una operaci\u00f3n importante y salva la visi\u00f3n de muchos pacientes palestinos al a\u00f1o. Desde principios de 2017, los m\u00e9dicos de Gaza han realizado aproximadamente 60 cirug\u00edas de trasplante de c\u00f3rnea.<\/p>\n

Israel ofrece regularmente sus servicios m\u00e9dicos<\/a>, conocimientos y experiencia a los servicios m\u00e9dicos y pacientes palestinos, en muchos casos de forma gratuita.<\/p>\n
