Una organizaci\u00f3n de Israel proporcion\u00f3 50 sillas de ruedas a ni\u00f1os sudafricanos discapacitados.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Cincuenta sillas de ruedas para ni\u00f1os de la organizaci\u00f3n israel\u00ed Wheelchairs of Hope se est\u00e1n distribuyendo a ni\u00f1os discapacitados de cinco a nueve a\u00f1os en Sud\u00e1frica a trav\u00e9s de WIZO (Organizaci\u00f3n Sionista Internacional de Mujeres) y la Embajada de Israel en Sud\u00e1frica.<\/span><\/p>\n

Las sillas de ruedas fueron ideadas por la pareja israel\u00ed Pablo Kaplan y Chava Rotshtein como una misi\u00f3n humanitaria para ayudar a los ni\u00f1os con discapacidades en los pa\u00edses en desarrollo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Las sillas se desarrollaron con la ayuda de profesionales en <\/span>ALYN Hospital en Jerusalem<\/span><\/a>, un centro de rehabilitaci\u00f3n pedi\u00e1trica para ni\u00f1os y adolescentes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teniendo pegatinas con el mensaje \u00abA los ni\u00f1os de Sud\u00e1frica. Con amor desde Israel\u00bb, las sillas de ruedas se donaron principalmente a trav\u00e9s del Hospital Ortop\u00e9dico Infantil Maitland Cottage en Ciudad del Cabo, el Hospital Infantil Nelson Mandela en Johannesburgo.<\/span><\/p>\n

En Sud\u00e1frica, se estima que 600,000 ni\u00f1os discapacitados no pueden ir a la escuela porque sus padres no pueden pagar una silla de ruedas.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abLa idea no es la silla en s\u00ed misma, sino la movilidad e independencia que le da a los ni\u00f1os que de otro modo no tendr\u00edan acceso a la vida escolar o comunitaria\u00bb, dijo Kaplan.<\/span><\/p>\n

En el pasado Israel don\u00f3 varias sillas de ruedas de\u00a0Wheelchairs of Hope a <\/span>ni\u00f1os<\/span><\/a> necesitados en Vietnam<\/a> , Per\u00fa y Tayikist\u00e1n, as\u00ed como a ni\u00f1os menores de nueve a\u00f1os con problemas de movilidad en Israel y la Autoridad Palestina, algunos de estas incluso fueron destinadas a ni\u00f1os refugiados sirios.<\/span><\/p>\n

Este a\u00f1o, Wheelchairs of Hope tambi\u00e9n donar\u00e1 sillas de ruedas a ni\u00f1os en Argentina.<\/span><\/p>\n
