Raisa, una de los 160 refugiados jud\u00edos ucranianos tra\u00eddos a Israel el jueves por United Hatzalah.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

El jueves, como parte de su primer vuelo de ayuda humanitaria fletado para ayudar a los ucranianos que cruzaron la frontera con Moldavia, United Hatzalah, una organizaci\u00f3n de servicios m\u00e9dicos de emergencia basada en voluntarios, transport\u00f3 por aire a 160 refugiados a Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Algunos ten\u00edan ciudadan\u00eda israel\u00ed, algunos llegaron a trav\u00e9s de la Ley del Retorno y algunos hab\u00edan decidido emigrar a Israel y convertirlo en su hogar permanente.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan la Ley del Retorno, todos los jud\u00edos no israel\u00edes tienen derecho a establecerse en Israel y recibir la ciudadan\u00eda israel\u00ed plena. Esto incluye a los hijos, nietos y c\u00f3nyuges no jud\u00edos, para que las familias no se separen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Raisa, una sobreviviente del Holocausto de 90 a\u00f1os que tiene dificultad para caminar, viv\u00eda sola en Odessa. Su hijo hab\u00eda fallecido hace dos a\u00f1os debido a una enfermedad. Sus tres nietas, que viven todas en Israel, son la \u00fanica familia que le queda.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cuando los rusos invadieron Ucrania la semana pasada y estall\u00f3 la guerra, la gente huy\u00f3 de la ciudad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Las nietas de Raisa se acercaron a United Hatzalah y les pidieron que ayudaran a salvar la vida de su anciana abuela.<\/span><\/p>\n

El rabino Hillel Cohen, director de United Hatzalah en Ucrania, hizo arreglos para que una ambulancia la llevara a la frontera con Moldavia. All\u00ed conoci\u00f3 a los voluntarios de United Hatzalah, quienes le llevaron comida y ropa y verificaron su estado m\u00e9dico.<\/span><\/p>\n

El mi\u00e9rcoles, Raisa fue llevada a un refugio en Chisinau administrado por la comunidad jud\u00eda local.<\/span><\/p>\n

El jueves por la ma\u00f1ana temprano, junto con otros refugiados ucranianos, la llevaron en autob\u00fas al aeropuerto de Rumania, donde abord\u00f3 un vuelo a Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abCuando el avi\u00f3n lleg\u00f3 a Israel, hab\u00eda muchas l\u00e1grimas\u00bb, dijo el vicepresidente de operaciones de United Hatzalah, Dov Maisel, quien acompa\u00f1\u00f3 a los refugiados en el viaje de regreso.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abHe visto una buena cantidad de zonas de desastre y no me emociono f\u00e1cilmente, pero ver a Raisa reunida con sus nietas me hizo llorar\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n
