\u00a0Itongadol\/ AJN.- Seg\u00fan un estudio de Pew Research Center de Washington, Estados Unidos, el 50 por ciento de los israel\u00edes tiene una imagen favorable del m\u00e1ximo representante de la Iglesia cat\u00f3lica.<\/p>\n

El reporte realizado durante la \u00faltima primavera refleja en Israel la tendencia que se da a nivel mundial en la que el Papa tiene una muy alta aceptaci\u00f3n, sobre todo en Europa y Am\u00e9rica.<\/div>\n

En Israel, exactamente el 50 por ciento de la poblaci\u00f3n tiene opiniones favorables sobre su figura, mientras que el 25 por ciento todo o contarrio. Y el 25 por ciento restante no sabe o no contesta.<\/div>\n

Israel se ubica as\u00ed como el segundo pa\u00eds de Medio Oriente que apoya al Papa, despu\u00e9s del L\u00edbano donde tiene un 62 por ciento de aceptaci\u00f3n frente a un solo 9 de rechazo.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
En tanto que las cosas no son similares en pa\u00edses como Turqu\u00eda, Egiptos y territorios palestinos donde tiene una imagen mucho menos desfavorable que ben\u00e9fica, paises donde el catolicismo es minoritario.<\/div>\n

A nivel mundial, el Papa obtuvo cerca del 60 por ciento de opiniones favorables contra 11% desfavorables, en los 43 pa\u00edses donde se realiz\u00f3 el estudio, seg\u00fan el instituto de investigaci\u00f3n.<\/div>\n

El sumo pont\u00edfice es particularmente apreciado en Europa, que ocupa el primer lugar con el 84% de opiniones positivas; le sigue Estados Unidos, donde estar\u00e1 de visita en 2015, con el 78%.
