El ministro de Defensa, Moshe Yaal\u00f3n, se dispone a viajar a la India el 17 de febrero pr\u00f3ximo, en lo que ser\u00e1 la primera visita de un ministro de Defensa israel\u00ed a Nueva Delhi. La gira tiene como tel\u00f3n del fondo el gran esfuerzo que ambas naciones est\u00e1n poniendo para estrechar sus v\u00ednculos de seguridad.<\/p>\n

Yaal\u00f3n tiene programado una serie de encuentros de alto nivel con oficiales indios y visitar\u00e1 una enorme f\u00e1brica de armas en la ciudad de Banglore, en el sur del subcontinente asi\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n

Jerusal\u00e9n y Nueva Delhi est\u00e1n discutiendo actualmente renovar sus acuerdos de libre comercio, y profundizar el acercamiento del Estado jud\u00edo y el gigante asi\u00e1tico, en t\u00e9rminos generales. Una delegaci\u00f3n encabezada por el director del Ministerio de Econom\u00eda, Amit Lang, visitar\u00e1 la India, el 9 de febrero pr\u00f3ximo, para discutir los v\u00ednculos econ\u00f3micos.<\/p>\n

En octubre pasado, la India acord\u00f3 la compra por un monto de 525 millones de d\u00f3lares de misiles Spike, que fueron usados ampliamente durante la guerra contra la organizaci\u00f3n terrorista isl\u00e1mica Ham\u00e1s, en el verano pasado, en Gaza.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con el\u00a0diario Yediot Aharonot, el viaje de Yaal\u00f3n a la India no solo fortalecer\u00e1 los lazos sino que tambi\u00e9n resultar\u00e1 en contratos de armas por miles de millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

En noviembre pasado, el ministro del Interior indio, Rajnath Singh, visit\u00f3 Israel, en lo que ha sido la visita oficial de m\u00e1s alto nivel que se haya efectuado desde Nueva Delhi a Israel.<\/p>\n

\u201cIsrael e India est\u00e1n en la c\u00faspide de una creciente cooperaci\u00f3n en una amplia variedad de campos\u201d, expres\u00f3 el primer ministro, Biniam\u00edn Netanyahu, al encontrarse con Singh el 6 de noviembre pasado.<\/p>\n

En septiembre, Netanyahu se reuni\u00f3 con el primer ministro de la India, Narendra Modi, en Nueva York, en los pasillos de la Asamblea General de la ONU para discutir los desarrollos nucleares en Ir\u00e1n y la expansi\u00f3n de los lazos bilaterales entre Jerusal\u00e9n y Nueva Delhi.<\/p>\n

El encuentro fue el primero entre mandatarios israel\u00edes e indios, en m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada.<\/p>\n

El Estado jud\u00edo est\u00e1 buscando estrechar sus lazos con Lejano Oriente, a ra\u00edz del crecimiento del antisemitismo y los boicots anti-israel\u00edes en el continente europeo.<\/p>\n
