Un ancien leader du Hezbollah retrouvé mort dans son appartement à Beyrouth

Un ancien chef du groupe terroriste libanais Hezbollah a été retrouvé mort dans son appartement à Beyrouth, selon des informations locales.

Cheikh Ali Hatoum était un membre important de l’organisation pro-iranienne jusqu’à son départ du groupe, il y a deux ans. Il a été retrouvé mort chez lui à Bourj el Barajneh, dans la banlieue de Beyrouth.

La police locale a ouvert une enquête sur les causes de la mort d’Ali Hatoum et ordonné une autopsie, a rapporté l’agence de presse nationale libanaise.

Dans le passé, Hatoum était l’un des principaux commandants régionaux du groupe dans la région de Beyrouth, mais pendant plusieurs années, il n’a occupé aucun poste important dans l’organisation.

Des « sources informées » ont déclaré au site d’information libanais Nahar qu’il n’aurait probablement pas été tué. Cependant, peu de détails ont été révélés.
