Après le contrecoup, alors que les gens condamnaient les terroristes, « Une chaîne palestinienne populaire a publié une déclaration avertissant les médias et autres de ne pas photographier les militants tirant avec leurs armes si une ambulance était présente dans la région. Il semble que les groupes aient compris l’effet négatif créé par les récentes vidéos publiées en ligne », a déclaré Joe Truzman, expert des conflits au Moyen-Orient.
