Accès interdit aux juifs. Il ne s’agit pas d’une affirmation prononcée en 1940, mais bel et bien aujourd’hui.
Alors que le monde met un point d’honneur à lutter contre toutes formes de discriminations, en 2017, certaines compagnies refusent encore l’accès à bord aux ressortissants de l’Etat hébreu.
Dans cette courte vidéo, vous pouvez voir un couple se rendant au comptoir de la compagnie Kuwait Airways en vue d’y acquérir des billets pour un vol Heathrow-Bangkok.
Alors même qu’aucune de ces deux villes n’appartienne à un Etat refusant les relations diplomatiques avec Israël, ce couple se voit interdire l’accès à bord.
Le motif?
« Pas d’israéliens à bord de notre compagnie ». Des termes clairs et non équivoques, auxquels la cliente s’empressera de rétorquer qu’elle se sent discriminée du fait de son appartenance au seul Etat juif de la planète.
Bien évidemment, aucune autre réponse de la part de la compagnie, qui campera sur ses positions.
Parmi les rares à s’indigner ouvertement d’un tel constat, le colonel Kemp, qui dirigeait les troupes britanniques ayant combattu pour la liberté au Koweït, a entrepris de soumettre cette discrimination « contre les juifs » à l’ambassade Koweït.
