Voices from the past: Colorized photos from the Holocaust

"Colorizing these photos will allow the people depicted in them to speak to us from the past."Turkish artist Yusuf Tolga Ünker colorizes black and white photos from the Holocaust: To force the viewer to see it as if it was happening today; to make deniers understand that those horrors indeed were the reality. His work turns historical images which we have seen many times before into even more shocking and emotional photos. For International Holocaust Remembrance Day, #WeRemember.
