Elle aurait eu 100 ans cette année.
Pendant la seconde guerre mondiale, comme d’autres dizaines de juifs, Hannah Szenes a été parachutée en Europe en vue de libérer des juifs des camps de la mort. Capturée par l’ennemi, et malgré la torture, elle refusera de livrer le moindre détail sur l’opération à laquelle elle a participé, ce qui lui coutera la vie.
Les soldats actuels de Tsahal ont tenu à lui rendre un hommage sur mesure.
