Toujours au Moyen-Orient, les combattants iraniens et les milices soutenues par l\u2019Iran, comme le Hezbollah au Liban, ont \u00e9merg\u00e9 de la guerre en Syrie avec une exp\u00e9rience pr\u00e9cieuse sur le champ de bataille qu\u2019ils cherchent \u00e0 exploiter ailleurs, selon le rapport.<\/p>\n

La baisse de 23% des attaques terroristes dans le monde en 2017 a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9e principalement \u00e0 la diminution du nombre d’attaques en Irak, o\u00f9 les forces gouvernementales avaient repris le territoire autrefois d\u00e9tenu par le groupe \u00c9tat islamique. Les d\u00e9c\u00e8s dus \u00e0 des attaques terroristes ont \u00e9galement diminu\u00e9 de 27% l’an dernier. Le rapport indique qu’\u00e0 eux seuls, les membres de Daesh ont effectu\u00e9 23% moins d\u2019attaques terroristes et caus\u00e9 53% de d\u00e9c\u00e8s en moins par rapport \u00e0 2016.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 la diminution des attaques, le rapport a qualifi\u00e9 le paysage terroriste de \u00ab\u00a0plus complexe<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb et d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la menace terroriste contre les \u00c9tats-Unis et leurs alli\u00e9s dans le monde avait \u00ab\u00a0\u00e9volu\u00e9<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/p>\n

Alors que l’Etat islamique a perdu du terrain, le groupe est devenu \u00ab\u00a0dispers\u00e9 et clandestin, se tournant vers Internet pour inspirer des attaques de partisans distants<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, ce qui a rendu le groupe \u00ab\u00a0moins sensible \u00e0 l’action militaire conventionnelle\u00a0\u00bb.<\/em><\/p>\n

Le rapport a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que Daesh et des organisations lui ayant pr\u00eat\u00e9 all\u00e9geance ont men\u00e9 des attaques dans plus de 20 pays \u00e0 travers le monde en 2017.<\/p>\n

En 2017 \u00e9galement, Al-Qa\u00efda a discr\u00e8tement \u00e9largi ses effectifs et ses op\u00e9rations, \u00e0 travers un r\u00e9seau mondial comprenant des forces en Syrie, dans le Golfe, en Afrique du Nord, en Somalie et dans le sous-continent indien.<\/p>\n
