Isra\u00ebl a dirig\u00e9 une conf\u00e9rence sur l’innovation des Nations Unies (ONU) ax\u00e9e sur la lutte mondiale contre le coronavirus (COVID-19), un forum international pour partager les connaissances et \u00e9laborer des strat\u00e9gies pour lutter contre la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n

Au d\u00e9but de l’ann\u00e9e, Isra\u00ebl et le Ghana ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lus \u00e0 la t\u00eate du Forum des Nations Unies sur la science, la technologie et l’innovation (STI), premi\u00e8re fois qu’Isra\u00ebl a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu \u00e0 ce poste. Avec le d\u00e9clenchement de la pand\u00e9mie de coronavirus, l’ONU a annul\u00e9 tous les \u00e9v\u00e9nements et forums de haut niveau, y compris le Forum STI.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ambassadeur d\u2019Isra\u00ebl aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019ONU, Danny Danon, a toutefois d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019initier une conf\u00e9rence num\u00e9rique sur l\u2019innovation et les outils technologiques pour combattre le virus.<\/p>\n

Ces derni\u00e8res semaines, l’initiative a re\u00e7u un soutien international et plusieurs pays, dont le Mexique, le Japon, Singapour, le Kenya, la R\u00e9publique tch\u00e8que, l’Estonie, le Rwanda et la Barbade ont rejoint la conf\u00e9rence de jeudi.<\/p>\n

Le Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral des Nations Unies pour les collaborations num\u00e9riques, le Dr Jovan Kurbalija et des membres des National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine des \u00c9tats-Unis ont \u00e9galement particip\u00e9.<\/p>\n
