A Palestinian rejoicing over the recent release of a security prisoner got more bang than he bargained for when he was seriously injured by celebratory gunfire

Masked gunmen in Qalqilya fired shots into the air to celebrate the recent release of a Palestinian prisoner.

For at least one bystander, the party turned into a nightmare when he was shot during the celebratory gunfire.

Safety apparently does not come first for these revelers.
