Protecting Gazelles in Jerusalem

Jerusalem City officials have decided to protect the natural setting of Gazelles. Rather than turn the land into real estate development, the land will become a recreation park and nature preserve.

Noami Tzur of the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel explains “This is an area of 260 dunams (64.25 Acres), and it will become a nature park, Our plan offers to protect an area of 60 dunams (14.8 Acres) exclusively for the gazelles….”
