South Africans will demonstrate in support of Israel this Thursday, June 28. The march has been initiated by non-Jewish Black groups which is very significant, especially in South Africa. Victims of apartheid are coming out in strong support of Israel – and against the anti-Israel boycott movement (BDS).

The march is a response to a recent decision by South Africa’s Department of Trade and Industry that products produced by Israeli companies in Judea and Samaria (Yehuda and Shomron) cannot be labeled as products of Israel.

Relabeling goods from Israel as coming form the “Occupied Palestinian Territories” is discriminatory. It is part of the International Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign to isolate and delegitimize Israel.

Several Pro-Israel groups are joining together to oppose this attempt to delegitimize Israel. Join us and show your support for Israel and condemnation of this move by the government of South Africa.
