Aerial footage of Israel’s Karish offshore natural gas platform released by Hezbollah on Sunday is fake, according to i24 News.

The video is a doctored version of promotional material produced by Energean, the British-Greek company that purchased the Karish and Tanin gas fields from Delek Drilling and Avner Oil in 2016 for $150 million.

“The only difference was that Hezbollah added some drone target graphics,” according to the report.

The Israel Defense Forces on Saturday shot down three unmanned aerial vehicles approaching the Karish platform from Lebanon.

One of the UAVs was downed by an Israeli F-16 fighter jet, while the other two were intercepted by the INS Eilat missile corvette, according to the IDF.

On June 9, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah called Israeli gas activities in the area “provocations.” He said that any Israeli drilling that takes place in advance of an agreement will be considered a direct assault on Lebanon. “All options are on the table,” he warned.
