TechSee, a Tel Aviv based company, is offering free “visual assistance” to help emergency response units, public health organizations, medical bodies, non-profit organizations, utilities and providers of essential public services in Italy, Germany, Austria, Spain, Netherlands and France, to help thwart the quickly spreading coronavirus.

The service will be offered for 90 days, it announced Thursday.

In light of worldwide travel restrictions and quarantine requirements, the innovative technology “allows customers and field service personnel to receive real-time augmented reality guidance on their mobile screens, visually guiding them step-by-step to resolutions,” according to a company statement. “Reps can guide customers remotely on multiple issues, from setting up physical equipment, troubleshooting, and operating devices to navigating mobile apps.”

Visual assistance is easy to use and readily available as a cloud-based platform. Agents and technicians successfully work from home, helping those in need through screen sharing tools. Thus, business can proceed as usual without unnecessary exposure to the dreaded coronavirus.

The company’s remote assistance technology keeps organizations going while maintaining government restrictions on social distancing as well as company closures.

“At times like this, people everywhere have a chance to come together and leverage any available technology to contain the spread of the epidemic,” Eitan Cohen, CEO of TechSee said. “A wide range of remote video technologies are already enabling organizations to rise to the challenge of containing the coronavirus and we’re more than willing to contribute in any way we can.”
