The president of Iran threatens to annihilate Israel, the international community sides with our enemies, and Israel continues to grow and prosper.  Jerusalem, which the international community would love to see divided, continues to flourish.  As reported in the Jerusalem Post, the Jerusalem municipality has announced a plan to create an official nature preserve in the southern part of the city.

The preserve, called “Deer Valley,” will be the end result of an 18 million shekel initiative to renovate an existing park and will include the introduction of new deer to the area a bird watching promenade, new playgrounds, and newly paved bike paths.

Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat explained: “Creating natural gems in the heart of Jerusalem turns [it] into a green city, and further supports the importance of creating open areas to improve the life of the residents.”

The valley sits right between the neighborhoods of Gonenim, Givat Mordechai, Ramat Sharett and Bayit Vagan and is accessible by foot to approximately 150,000 city residents.
