Rapper Nissim Black’s Chanukah video, “Eight Flames,” shows pride in Jewish history and the State of Israel.
African-American rapper and producer Nissim Black, a convert to Judaism, make Aliyah with his family in 2016.
His Chanukah video oozes pride in Jewish history and faith in God, highlighting the Jewish People’s victory against their enemies despite all odds. As in the story of Chanukah, the few defeated the msny.
Referring to the lighting of the Menorah throughout the eight days of the holiday, Black says, “We fight back to light that fire. We show the entire world no fear in us!”
