Have you been thinking about moving to Israel but all the unknowns make thinking about such a move impossible? Do you want to be an on line advocate for Israel but don’t know how? Now is your chance to learn everything you ever wanted to know about aliyah and advocating for Israel using social media.

Nefesh B’Nefesh and the Jewish Agency for Israel have teamed up for a “Think Aliyah” conference this Sunday October 21 at the UJA-Federation of New York from 1:00p.m – 5:00p.m. The conference includes workshops on jobs and higher education in Israel. It will include an “Israel Fair” in which those considering Aliyah can meet with potential employers. There will also be a special workshop for physicians.

This mega event will also include a Tweetup entitled “Confronting the Challenges of Online Israel Advocacy.” This will enable passionate supporters of Israel to learn how to effectively advocate for Israel using social media while meeting others who are already doing so. The Tweetup will include the following popular pro-Israel Tweeters: Lisa Alcalay Klug, award-winning journalist, author of Cool Jew and Hot Mamalah; Bethany Shondark, Social Media Associate at Commentary Magazine; Josh Yuter, Rabbi of the Stanton St. Shul, Top 10 Jewish influencer and award winning blogger; Seth Mandel, Assistant Editor at Commentary Magazine and Laura Ben-David, Social Media Coordinator of Nefesh B’Nefesh.

Participants at the event will also enter a raffle to win 2 FREE tickets to Israel.

The event can be followed on Twitter at #thinkIsrael.
