Taking advantage of its vantage point over the Old City of Jerusalem, the Inbal Jerusalem Hotel recently installed a Panomax device on its rooftop, providing a constant live panoramic video feed of the city through the hotel’s website.

Users anywhere can access the view and interact with it in many ways. Features include “Points of Interest,” highlighting visible tourist attractions; time-lapse videos; and a one-click accessible archive of interactive past video footage.

Users also can learn more about locations in the city, zoom in on any picture and order poster prints.

The Inbal is the first hotel in Israel to feature the Panomax device, which has already been placed in several scenic tourist sites in Europe.

“We are privileged to have a beautiful view of one of the most unique cities in the world,” said Inbal Vice-President of Sales and Marketing Alex Herman. “We hope to give our worldwide audience access to the view so that they can interact with, and connect with our great city of Jerusalem. In addition, the fact that the site will be saving all the footage allows users to access a ‘live archive’ of the city.”
