Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was accompanied on his trip to the US by the families of hostages and fallen IDF soldiers.

The prime minister plans to address both houses of Congress and meet with Biden.

The speech will mark the fourth time the Israeli premier has addressed the legislatures, a record for a foreign leader.

There was some indication that Hamas has 'softened' its position and may have rescinded its demand for a permanent ceasefire.

Netanyahu asked world leaders how they can expect Israel 'to leave a quarter of Hamas’s [organized fighting] force intact, in a defined territory. We won’t allow that.'

The cross-unit operation drew praise from officials for flawless execution.

His prayer beseeches the creator to watch over and protect these holy warriors defending the Jewish state.

'We will not compromise on anything less than total victory.'
