Jerusalem is brimming with excitement ahead of the opening of the new US embassy. Ambassador David Friedman gives us a glimpse of the activity before the big day!

On Monday, the United States will open its new embassy in Jerusalem, the capital of the State of Israel.

Signs throughout the city, in Hebrew and English, express gratitude to President Donald Trump for being a “friend of Zion” and the State of Israel. Israelis are truly excited about this historic event, which takes place just a day after Yom Yerushalayim – the 51st anniversary of the reunification of the eternal Jewish capital.

Embassy staff is working around the clock to be ready in time. Before the big day, US Ambassador David Friedman arrived at the dedication ceremony site to oversee the preparations. Embassy staff is working around the clock to be ready.
