Once again, politics and hate have polluted an international competition in the Arab world, at the expense of Israel as usual.

The King Salman World Rapid and Blitz Championships, the first international chess competition held in Saudi Arabia, has commenced without a key delegation of chess players – the Israeli team.

This happened because the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia refuses to issue visas to Israel on racist and discriminatory grounds.
