Netanyahu was warmly welcomed this week in Colombia, where he and the Colombian president vowed to strengthen the 60-year friendship between the two countries.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the “warm reception” he and his wife Sara received in Bogota.

Santos called Israel a “friend and an ally.”

Colombia and Israel have enjoyed 60 years of friendship, including ups and downs.

On the second leg of his Latin American tour, Netanyahu said the relationship is being further strengthened, with increased cooperation in several fields.
