Early Saturday morning, while Israelis were enjoying the Sabbath rest, thousands of unsuspecting citizens in the country’s north were jolted by the wail of air-raid sirens. They had moments to gather their children and run for safely to the nearest bomb shelters.
The Israel Defense Forces managed to neutralize the unmanned, Iranian-made drone and take out key aggressive targets in Syria.
Brig. Gen. Amnon Ein Dar walks us through the steps of this military operation and explains the IDF’s challenges.
