The trilateral summit in Nicosia with Israel, Greece and Cyprus focused on building people-to-people bridges and helping to secure the countries’ prosperity, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

On Tuesday, the leaders of Israel, Cyprus and Greece convened in Nicosia for their fourth summit since launching a trilateral partnership in 2016.

The summit focused on energy issues and collaboration, as has been the case at previous trilateral meetings.

At the weekly cabinet meeting on Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the feasibility of laying a pipeline from Israel to Cyprus and then to Greece and Italy would be his main issue for discussion.
