Life under Rocket Fire

A resident of the southern city of Ashkelon describes life for Israelis under the recent barrage of rockets from Gaza.

Palestinians fired some 30 rockets and mortars at Israel from Gaza during the past two weeks, with Israeli communities once again under fire on a near-daily basis. The Palestinians launched their recent barrage of rockets in the wake of US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

For Israelis experiencing rocket fire, life has become tense and fearful.

Watch Ashkelon resident Beverly Jamil describe the reality of living under rocket fire on an almost daily basis.
